Please share your thoughts on Digg gaming

I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way but often times I go through the trouble of posting a good story on Digg and gets a paltry number of diggs. Then sometimes later, I see the same story posted by a popular digger and it gets gazillion diggs, so I must wonder, why am I not getting more diggs? Is there digg gaming going on, if so, I would love to know their formula. Maybe they have groupie trolls that instantly digg their stories upon submission, hell I don't know, love to hear your thoughts.
